On October 15, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) officially announced the Vietnam Mid-Amateur Championship 2025 – Nam A Bank Cup, marking the debut of a brand-new tournament within the Vietnam Amateur Series. The event represents an important milestone, introducing a new, high-caliber platform for Vietnam’s growing amateur golf community.
The championship will take place from November 5–8, 2025, at FLC Golf Club Ha Long, one of Vietnam’s most stunning and challenging golf courses. With its breathtaking scenery and signature layout overlooking Ha Long Bay, the venue promises an unforgettable experience for all participating golfers.
As Vietnam’s golf scene continues to flourish—particularly among rising young players who are dominating national leaderboards—the need for a dedicated, competitive arena for mature golfers has become increasingly evident. These are individuals with deep passion, strong discipline, and years of experience who continue to embody the true spirit of the sport.
The Vietnam Mid-Amateur Championship was created to meet that demand: a fair, professional, and enduring competition where non-professional golfers can demonstrate their skill, strategic mindset, and unwavering sportsmanship.

Men: Amateur golfers aged 30 and above, with a Handicap Index ≤ 9.0
Women: Amateur golfers aged 25 and above, with a Handicap Index ≤ 15.0
This demographic represents the mature and seasoned generation of golfers whose passion and sportsmanship will bring exciting and high-quality competition to the tournament.
For its inaugural season, Nam A Bank proudly joins as the Title Sponsor, underscoring its commitment to the growth of golf in Vietnam. Beyond sponsorship, Nam A Bank aims to spread the tournament’s core message of passion, value, and dedication—promoting the positive spirit of golf across the community.

The 2025 championship embraces the theme “Lan Tỏa” (Spreading), which captures the essence of what the tournament stands for—connection, inspiration, and shared passion within the Vietnamese golf community.
Spreading the Spirit of Golf – built on honesty, discipline, and integrity.
Spreading Passion – uniting golfers nationwide who share a love for the game.
Spreading Value – fostering a strong, connected, and sustainable golf culture.
For this generation of experienced golfers, “Lan Tỏa” also symbolizes passing on the torch—sharing experience, inspiring younger players, and nurturing the continued growth of Vietnamese golf.
